Richard Craner
Finance Director
Richard is an experienced Finance Director, having held board level positions in both adult and children’s social care. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant and holds a first-class degree in Economics from Nottingham University.
Richard started his professional career at KPMG, performing due diligence on mergers and acquisitions as part of their transaction services team in the Midlands. After nearly 6 years at KPMG, he then transitioned to industry, taking a commercial role at Voyage Care managing acquisitions, developments and disposals.
Richard then moved on to become Chief Financial Officer at Accomplish Group, a support provider for adults with Autism, Mental Health needs, Learning Disabilities and Acquired Brain Injuries. Whilst here, Richard supported a significant expansion plan including a number of business acquisitions, developments and refinancing before joining Edison Education.
Richard spends most of his time outside of work entertaining his young son, but still tries to squeeze in the occasional game of rugby or football where he can.
